Meet Elisa Richards, qualified homeopath and founder of Remedies & Roots
Rooted in nature, focused on you: My journey to holistic healing
Combining professional homeopathic expertise with deep intuitive listening to guide your body back to its natural state of balance
Personalised homeopathic support
I offer personalised homeopathic support for women, children and families, taking the time to understand the whole person, not just the symptoms. With a particular focus on women’s health, hormones and menstrual wellbeing, I provide a safe, supportive space to explore your health, understand your body and feel more empowered in your wellbeing journey.
I offer consultations in Betchworth, near Dorking in Surrey, and online throughout the UK.
Why I chose to become a homeopath
Setting up Remedies & Roots, my own homeopathy practice, felt like a natural progression from my homeopathic journey and studies. I wanted to create a practice that reflects the way I genuinely want to work with people: personally, practically and with plenty of time to listen.
There is still a lot of misunderstanding around homeopathy, and one of my biggest aims is to help change that. I want to show people that homeopathy doesn’t have to feel “woo woo” or mysterious. For me, it is about taking the time to listen, understand the individual and offer a gentle, personalised approach to wellbeing.
I also believe that homeopathy and conventional medicine don’t have to be an either-or choice. There is a time and a place for different approaches to healthcare, and I believe they can sit alongside one another when appropriate.
Ultimately, I set up Remedies & Roots because I love seeing people grow in confidence and understanding of themselves. Being invited to be part of someone’s journey is a privilege, and helping people feel more informed, supported and empowered in their wellbeing is what makes this work so rewarding for me.
My hope is to make homeopathy feel more approachable, grounded and accessible, so that people can make informed choices about their wellbeing and find the support that feels right for them.
A little more about Elisa
Alongside my passion for homeopathy, I have a love for travel and have been fortunate enough to explore many different cultures around the world. Growing up, I adored performing and musical theatre, and I still have a huge love for the creative arts. My mum still calls me her ‘singing donkey’ from Shrek! I’m also a big fan of ‘This Country’ on BBC, Miley Cyrus and chocolate!
I have been using homeopathy for around 15 years, and it has become something I feel incredibly passionate about. I love sharing what I have learnt, helping people explore their wellbeing and encouraging them to feel more connected to and trusting of their bodies.
Ultimately, I love helping people feel better; not just physically, but in themselves. Being part of someone’s journey, seeing their confidence grow and watching them make positive changes in their lives is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
I’m a qualified homeopath and studied for 3 years at The River School of Homeopathy , graduating as a licentiate. I am also a member of the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths (ARH).
